## New Tokyo Game Show footage gives players their clearest look yet at how Street Fighter 6's next DLC character actually controls
With **Arjun set to join Street Fighter 6 on October 13, 2026**, players are starting to get much more detailed information about the upcoming fighter.
Capcom previously introduced the core ideas behind Arjun's moveset, including his ability to build large amounts of recoverable damage before cashing out with powerful follow-up attacks.
Now, thanks to the playable **Tokyo Game Show 2026 demo**, we finally have a clearer look at his actual Classic control inputs.
Japanese player **Reiketsu** shared screenshots from the TGS build showing Arjun's command list. While the menu itself is displayed in Japanese, the inputs and animations make it possible to identify most of his attacks and compare them with Capcom's earlier character breakdown.
## Arjun has several target combo options
One of the first things that stands out is the number of target combos available to him.
Arjun can link **Medium Kick into Heavy Kick**, while **Heavy Punch** appears to have multiple follow-up routes.
His Heavy Punch sequences can branch into additional Heavy Punch attacks or transition into Heavy Kick depending on the chosen string.
Heavy Kick also has its own follow-up into Heavy Punch.
This gives Arjun several built-in combo routes before players even begin experimenting with Drive Rush or special move extensions.
## Multiple special moves include follow-ups
Several of Arjun's special attacks also contain additional manual commands.
**Arm of Justice**, **Breathing Ring** and **Indomitable Defense** all appear to have follow-up options, giving players additional control over how each move is used.
**Cruel Shoulder** has a unique interaction with Arjun's **Divine Pillar** mechanic.
When Cruel Shoulder is performed close to an active Divine Pillar, Arjun automatically transitions into **Justice Beyond**, creating another important layer to his pressure and positioning.
## Arjun is a motion-input character
The command list also confirms that Arjun uses traditional motion inputs rather than charge commands.
Most of his specials rely on familiar **quarter-circle and dragon punch motions**, making his basic control structure recognizable to experienced Street Fighter players.
His command grab uses a **half-circle motion**, while **Indomitable Defense** is activated using a **down, down input**.
Combined with the early gameplay impressions coming from Tokyo Game Show, Arjun is starting to look like a technical heavyweight with multiple follow-ups, strong pressure routes and mechanics that reward players for carefully managing positioning and recoverable damage.
With the TGS demo now in players' hands, even more frame data, combo routes and character-specific discoveries are likely to emerge before **Arjun officially releases on October 13**.
