CAPCOM OPENS STREET FIGHTER LEAGUE JAPAN 2026 TO MIRROR STREAMS AS NEW SEASON BEGINS

That includes members of VSPO!, who are serving as official support ambassadors, alongside participating players and streamers affiliated with the organizations competing in Street Fighter League. It is a noteworthy change in how Capcom is approaching one of Street Fighter 6's most important professional competitions. Instead of relying entirely on the central CAPCOM Fighters JP broadcast, the publisher is effectively allowing established creators and team personalities to become additional distribution channels for the league. VSPO! mirror streams will go a step further by featuring interviews with players who perform particularly well during individual matches. The move reflects a broader shift across esports. Co-streaming has increasingly become a way for publishers and tournament organizers to reach viewers who may follow a creator or organization more closely than an official esports channel. Rather than forcing those audiences to move elsewhere, the competition comes directly to them. For Street Fighter League Japan, the strategy could be particularly valuable. The 2026 season features 12 organizations and 48 players, with teams divided between Division S and Division F.
