Evo France 2026 opens in Nice: SF6 and Tekken 8 finals guide

*Sunday puts both games on the main stage, with championship qualification adding to the stakes.* Evo France 2026 has opened its official tournament weekend in Nice. Matches run from October 9 to October 11, with Street Fighter 6 and Tekken 8 scheduled to reach their main-stage Top 8 finals on Sunday. The two competitions carry stakes beyond the Evo trophy. Street Fighter 6 is part of the Capcom Pro Tour’s Premier circuit, while Tekken 8 is a TEKKEN World Tour Master+ event. The respective winners can secure invitations to their games’ season-ending championships. **When to watch the finals** | Game | Date | Scheduled broadcast window | |---|---|---| | Tekken 8 | Sunday, October 11 | 14:15–18:00 CEST | | Street Fighter 6 | Sunday, October 11 | 18:30–22:00 CEST | These are the planned windows shown in Evo’s official stream graphic. Individual match times may change as the tournament progresses. **Longer sets once the final eight remain** Evo’s rules specify double elimination for both games. Sets are best of three before the Top 8 and best of five in the finals. The winner of a game must retain the same character, adding another consideration to the longer final-stage format. Fans can follow the official brackets for confirmed results and watch through Evo’s Twitch channel and Evo Events on YouTube.
