Rangchu and LowHigh advance as ATIF falls short of Evo France Top 8
*Farzeen and Jeondding complete the winners side, while ULSAN survives an elimination match against ATIF.*
Rangchu, LowHigh, Farzeen and Jeondding will begin the Tekken 8 finals at Evo France 2026 on the winners side. ATIF, meanwhile, is out: defeats to Rangchu and ULSAN ended his run before the Top 8.
## Rangchu sends ATIF into the lower bracket
Rangchu secured his place by defeating ATIF 2–0, playing Fahkumram against Dragunov. ATIF then faced ULSAN for a final chance to advance, but lost that set 2–1 and was eliminated.
Rangchu brings substantial championship experience to Sunday’s stage. The VARREL player won the Tekken World Tour Finals in both 2018 and 2024. He also finished second at Evo Las Vegas earlier this year, ahead of LowHigh in third and Jeondding in fourth.
All three now have another opportunity to chase an Evo title from the winners side. Farzeen joins them after a 2–0 victory over Dawood Sikandar; LowHigh beat JacobKaas 2–0, while Jeondding edged Mulgold 2–1.
## Confirmed Top 8 opening matches
| Bracket | Match |
|---|---|
| Winners semifinal | Farzeen vs LowHigh |
| Winners semifinal | Rangchu vs Jeondding |
| Losers round 1 | Dawood Sikandar vs Hafiz Tanveer |
| Losers round 1 | ULSAN vs Numan Ch |
The official bracket confirms all eight finalists and their opening opponents.
ULSAN’s next opponent is Numan Ch, who eliminated Mulgold 2–1 to advance. Dawood Sikandar and Hafiz Tanveer will also start under immediate elimination pressure, with only one able to survive their opening encounter.
The Tekken 8 Top 8 is scheduled to begin on **Sunday, October 11, at 14:15 CEST**. The title carries a direct invitation to the Tekken World Tour 2026 Finals. Best-of-five sets give the remaining players more time to adapt, but anyone entering from losers has already exhausted their margin for defeat.
